Can Kendi is a Senior Partner and the Managing Partner at McKinsey & Company Turkey which has offices in Istanbul, Ankara, and Baku. He has joined McKinsey in 2003 and, since, undertaken several projects across different sectors in Turkey, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Also, he is among the leaders of McKinsey Telecommunications, Media and Technology Practice and McKinsey Public and Social Sector Practice in EEMA region.

Can’s extensive experience at McKinsey includes designing a mega-project pool covering automotive, machinery, electronics, chemistry, pharmaceutical, food and beverage sectors in Turkey, developing a business plan for the new fixed broadband subsidiary of an Eastern European mobile operator, developing a strategy for model factory concept in lean manufacturing in Turkey, creating a comprehensive organization design for a major public sector client in EEMA and designing organizational restructuring project for a major electricity distribution company.

Prior to McKinsey, Can worked as a construction manager on Isbank Headquarters Project for Tepe-Turner Steiner JV, and worked in the capacity of business development manager responsible for construction, energy and real estate sectors at Akfen Holding. After receiving his BA degree in Architecture from Middle East Technical University, Turkey (1997), Can continued his study at Illinois Institute of Technology, US (1998), in which he attained an M.Sc. degree in Construction Engineering and Management. Can, also holds an MBA degree from University of Michigan, US (2004) in which he concentrated on Strategy and Finance.
