Devrim Çukur is the managing partner of Çukur & Partners Law Firm and leads Corporate, M&A and International Practice Groups in the firm.

For more than 25 years, Devrim Çukur is a trusted business law adviser to a wide range of corporate clients, institutional investors and high-net-worth people and families. He has been advising to landmark Turkish and international conglomerates, corporates, financial institutions as well as family businesses and emerging companies at M&A, private equity, venture capital, joint venture, mezzanine financing, corporate finance and capital markets transactions alongside general corporate, commercial and business law matters. Vast majority of his practice includes international aspects.

Besides, Devrim Çukur is passionate for advising to start-ups, scale-up and emerging companies, innovators, entrepreneurs and their investors. Therefore, He is an integral part of entrepreneurship, innovation and technology ecosystem in Turkey for decades and his practice widely includes ICT, TMT and digital law practices.

Devrim Çukur is an active volunteer of civil society for almost 30 years and member of various business NGO’s including ESİAD, KALDER, PERYÖN, several international Chambers of Commerce and International Bar Association. He is also one of the pioneers of responsible and sustainable business in legal practice in Turkey. He is a keynote speaker and mentor on law firm management, responsible & sustainable lawyering and business as well as professional and personal development of law school students and young lawyers. He’s the founder of Çukur & Partners Academy developing a wide range of support and training programs for legal and business sectors.

Devrim Çukur takes pride in that he was a Turkish national delegate at Council of Europe’s Congress of Local and Regional Authorities and represented Republic of Turkey at several European matters between 2009-2014 years at the COE. Alongside many other critical European mandates and reports, he drafted on behalf of COE, he was elected and performed as vice-president of Monitoring Committee of the Congress for 3 years. Devrim Çukur was also an elected member and vice-president of İzmir Provincial Council between 2009-2014 and conducted the presidency of international affairs and European Union relations Committee during this term.
