Kerem Seçkin graduated from Bilkent University, Faculty of Economics, and completed his International MBA at the MIP Politecnico di Milano concentrating on Corporate Finance and Strategy. He started his career as an entrepreneur, co-finding service apartments rental and short-term apartment booking portal in Milan, Italy in 2008, which allowed its users to book apartments in real-time. After successfully completing an investment round, he left the management of the company and moved back to Turkey to join the first institutional student accommodation investment platform in Turkey, backed by two private equity funds, as the leader of business development, sales, and marketing at the beginning of 2013. In 2017, he joined Global Investment Holdings, a diversified investment conglomerate investing in infrastructure, renewable energy, asset management, compressed natural gas distribution, technology, mining, and real estate across the globe, working as a senior manager at the strategy, business development, and mergers and acquisitions department. Since joining the company, he has led and completed multiple transactions across 4 countries and simultaneously with his current position, serves as a member of the board of directors at various companies owned by Global Investment Holdings. Kerem has over 15 years of experience in cross-border business development, mergers and acquisitions, finance, and business development fields and is fluent in English and Italian.
