I have graduated from Duke University in 2003. My majors were Electrical Engineering and Economics.

After my graduation from Duke, I worked at Corporate Executive Board in Washington, D.C. in 2003 and 2004. The company provided services in the best business practices research area. Between 2004 and 2006, I worked at Analysis Group that was in the economic consulting sector. We would prepare expert reports in intellectual property infringement and anti-trust cases. The reports were economics-based and summarized the monetary damages resulting from such cases. After that, I worked at Stemcor U.S.A. that operated in a physical commodities trading medium, focusing on steel and raw materials. Post leaving Stemcor in 2009, I worked at Yapi Kredi Bankasi A.S. in Istanbul, Turkey in the capacity of a Project Manager in the Project Finance Team. We were mainly responsible for closing the financings of power plants and toll-roads (we have provided term sheets to the clients, presented the projects to the bank’s board, and post-board approval, we negotiated the loan agreements with the clients). The total loan amount related to my projects extended by the bank was in the vicinity of USD 1 billion. After having worked for 4 years in this department, I have worked for 1.5 years in the bank’s Business Development department. During my tenor in this department, we established a subsidiary in Malta.

After that, I worked in the Strategy department of Turkiye Sise ve Cam Fabrikalari, A.S. for 5 months. Later on, I worked in Pir-Inci Bujiteri A.S. since between 2016 and 2019 in the Business Development and Export Departments. I was mainly responsible for making our newly-established company in Germany profitable and managed export activities to Germany, the United Kingdom, and Mexico. Lastly, I began to work in shopi, a startup providing solutions in the Omnichannel sector, in January 2020.

Recently, I have invested in Legends of Learning, Inc. a mid-stage company operating in the education field, GoldRock Technologies, Inc. (a fin-tech start-up company), and BountiFoods (a bio-tech start-up company).
