Zafer, who was recently named an Endeavor Entrepreneur, co-founded OBSS in 2005 and has steered the company since it’s conception. It’s his vision, combined with mindset of an engineer fused with the drive of an entrepreneur, that shaped OBSS from it’s early days as Turkey’s only RedHat system integrator into a major force in software engineering and R&D. Before OBSS, Zafer was a business development manager at Anka, with varied responsibilities including biomedical device engineering R&D.

Zafer studied computer engineering at Bilkent University, one of Turkey’s top ranked universities. It was while studying at Bilkent that Zafer was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, where he started several businesses with classmates to exploit internationally pricing and supply inefficiencies.
